SAM Update 7-25-25

Dear SAM Members,

Thank you for staying engaged over the summer months.  We are looking forward to hosting everyone at the SAM summer conference next week!

Are you new in your role or new to Montana?  We will host a special webinar for 'new administrators' on Thursday, August 14 at 8:30am. This will be short presentation of what SAM has to offer and other important education related issues to start the year. If you know of someone new to their role, please make sure to remind them to hold this day and time on their calendar. We will send a zoom link in the next few weeks.

News on the Impoundment of Title Funds:

Good news to report to everyone today!  Just announced about one hour ago - the Federal Administration will be releasing all the impounded miscellaneous Title funds.  The two biggest funds for Montana were Title 2 and Title 4 - which impacted every school in the state.  Thank you for your advocacy with our congressional representatives. Remember that your voice matters in these important issues.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.  Rob
