Hello SAM Members,
August brings back to school planning for most of us. I wish each of you the best as you prepare your schools to welcome back staff and students.
A reminder to participate in your regional meetings with your colleagues. It is a great way to stay connected and receive updates on the most current information. I will be several regional meetings this fall and look forward to connecting with you in person.
Remember that SAM is here to support your professional needs. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance. My contact info is at the bottom of this email. Thanks! Rob

We Have a New Website!
We are excited to announce that we moved to a new website and association management software this week. This transition will enhance your member experience by providing more value and convenience. Our goal is to ensure that you have the best possible tools and resources to support your professional learning and engagement with SAM.
The SAM website address remains the same, so you will continue to access resources at https://www.sammt.org/. You will receive log in credentials in the next few weeks. For now, log in is not required to access the SAM website.
We appreciate your continued support and patience throughout this transition. We will continue to update you as new member tools are available.

2024-25 SAM Leaders Professional Learning Program Registration is Open
SAM is continuing the long standing tradition of providing a low cost 1-1 coaching/mentoring model with the SAM Leaders Professional Learning Program (LPLP). If you are new to your position OR if you would benefit from a mentor, this is the right program for you. LPLP provides each person with an experienced mentor that will provide support through 1-1 conversations and check-ins throughout the school year. Remember that leadership can be a lonely job. The LPLP mentor can be a great resource for quick guidance or a confidential ear to provide a sounding board in difficult situations. Register now for this opportunity to work with a mentor for only $750 for the entire 2024-25 program year.
